D.O.G. Development, LLC unleashes 50th franchise agreement
April 29, 2005

Denver, Colo.—With Americans spending $32.4 billion on their pets in 2003, twice the amount spent just 10 years ago, one dog daycare and boarding franchise is expanding across the country. D.O.G. Development, LLC, has announced the signing of its 50th franchise agreement.

Since selling its first franchise in 2003, the company quickly sold 10 more, and now plans to add 35 new Camp Bow Wow locations nationwide by 2005. The regions that are slated for expansion include Florida, California, Texas, North and South Carolina, New Jersey, Ohio, Michigan, Nevada and Missouri.

In addition to its growth in the United States, the franchise has major development plans in Canada later this year. Camp Bow Wow Canada, headquartered in Calgary, will oversee regional development in Western Canada with at least 15 locations to be developed within the next two years.

“To millions of people dogs are more than just pets, they are members of the family,” says Heidi Flammang, president and founder of D.O.G. Development, LLC. “Hectic schedules force people to seek alternatives to leaving dogs alone or placing them in sterile kennel environments. We give our ‘campers’ as much love, care and attention as they get at home with their families.”
