Frazer, PA - Dixon Environmental's MON Resource Center (http://www.monrule.com/) received the 1st place 2006 Professional Services Management Association's (PSMA) Management Achievement award for best practices in Information Technology. The information technology award was presented to the firm whose use of information technology fosters better communications with clients and for best practices in web site creation and management. The MON Resource Center, sponsored by the Synthetic Organic Chemical Manufacturers Association (SOCMA), was developed by Dixon Environmental in order to provide organic chemical manufactures with the tools necessary to comply with the Miscellaneous Organic Chemicals NESHAP (40 CFR Part 63, Subpart FFFF). The MON Resource Center has been designed to provide the most complete “plain English” guidance available for MON regulatory compliance. It also provides opportunities for environmental personnel at regulated facilities to relate to others affected by the MON rule and hear the latest information from industry and agency personnel. The MON Resource Center takes compliance guidance to the next level by offering easy access and improved search-ability for information available on the internet. Awards were presented at the PSMA annual meeting in Los Angeles on August 18, 2006 by James Power IV of J.D. Power and Associates.
